Oasis is an Australian-based dating site, with members all over the world. It caters to men and women of any age over 18, and almost all its features are free to use. I know, sounds good! The site itself is aesthetically a little tired, but it does the job. You get suggested matches, and can message other members and read messages, as well as viewing full bios and photos, no matter your membership level. Most users are on the younger end of things, which is usual for a free site, though it’s not as pronounced on Oasis as on some rivals. You can pay to remove ads and send shout outs, or of course if you just want to support the site! This is a decent free site if you’re dipping your toe in the water, or you can’t afford a paid-for dating site.
Sign up at Oasis is really easy. It takes, literally, two minute, requiring the bare minimum info: name, email, where you are, who you are and who you’re looking for in terms of ages and gender. After that, you’re in, and can use the site.
Oasis lets everyone chat to everyone else, including both messages and chat functions. You can say Like, Maybe or No for each member, classifying them by how interested you are. You can also add notes about other members, so you remember what you were thinking when you found them! Oasis will provide you with daily matches, and you can search users too. On Oasis you can see who liked you, and you can of course like them too. You can also save people as a Maybe, to return to later.
Filled out profiles get more matches, and they also mean that matches are more accurate. The more people know about you, the better a decision they can make about whether or not they’re the one (or the one for now), so put as much info as you’re comfortable with into your Oasis dating profile. You can also upload pictures to both your main gallery, and to your private gallery. This one is controlled by you, and you decide who gets access. So, it’s perfect for more saucy photos if that’s your thing!
Oasis is very usable without paying. In fact, this is one of the best things about the site. Paying for membership means you get an ad free experience, and you get to send shoutouts to everyone on the site. The payment plans are monthly, and cost around £3.50 for the ad free add on, and £3.50 for Shoutouts.
Canceling is easy on Oasis. Go to My Profile, Settings and then Deactivate My Account. Your profile and account history will be deleted permanently, so only do this if you really won’t be back!
Oasis sends you daily matches that are a fit for the criteria you set out as desirable, and your interests. The closest users will be at the top of the list, but scroll down and you might just find some far flung hotties who are perfect for you!
Same sex searches and matches are available on Oasis, which is not always the case on sites like this.
The App is free and easy to use. It looks similar to the desktop site, but you can swipe right to Like and left for No, making it easier to use on a phone. It’s free for iOS and Android, and means you can keep up with your potential dates on the go!
On Oasis, you can see everyone who likes you so that you can then comb through them and see who you want to like back! Then you have your own list of who you Like, and also your Maybes. The Maybes list is an unusual and useful addition.

Oasis is a great site for both casual dating and hookups, and more serious affairs of the heart. It’s mostly Australian, so there are lots of Ozzie and Kiwi users, but also many members from around the world. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something free, as many sites claim to be free but actually aren’t. Oasis, though, has no horrible tricks up its sleeve! What you see is what you get. Enjoy messaging to your heart’s content, and never pay a penny. Unless you want an ad free experience or to send Shoutouts of course. Overall, this is a super solid option for dating without paying for the pleasure. There are a few fake profiles on the site because it’s free, so do look out for those. If you don’t feel capable of weeding them out, then maybe pay for a site with fewer rather than risking it on the (admittedly otherwise great) Oasis.
It's free and fun. Basically i've met heaps, i've dated, i've had one night stands, i've had women wanting to be a bonk buddy and i've had five women in bed at the same time. The best part of my time on oasis was I had about five relationships after being on it for twelve years.
I was on Oasis about three years ago and had replies from two local ladies. I am still in touch with them even now.
Free and easy to use, like everywhere online there are scammers you just need to be careful thats all. You get what you pay for (or not)!
I have used quite a few dating sites, and I found this is the best so far, even better than all the other paid sites i've used. I like the design of the site, the layout is so unique to the others, more easy and continent to use than most of the other dating site. I’ve met some great men, and hope to meet more!
